Temperature is the physical quantity that tells how cold or hot an object is. The units of temperature are Kelvin(K), Fahrenheit(°F), Celsius(°C). The room temperature is 20 to 25°C.

°C + 273.15 = K

(°F − 32) × 5/9 + 273.15 = K

°F = (°C × 9/5) + 32

But have you ever wondered the highest and lowest temperatures if the Universe ???

Temperatures of different bodies or events :-

• The lowest possible temperature is Absolute Zero. [0 Kelvin],[-273.15°C]

• The highest possible temperature is Plank's Temperature.  [ 1.416785×10³² Kelvin ]

• The coldest Nebula in the universe his Boomerang Nebula [-272°C], [1 Kelvin]

• The lowest temperature recorded in the solar system is in Uranus [-224°C]

• The lowest recorded temperature on earth it is in Antarctica. [ -89°C]

• The highest recorded temperature on Earth is in Death Valley, California, US. [56.7°C]

• The average temperature on Venus [hottest planet] is 464°C / 737 Kelvin

• The temperature on Sun's surface is 5505°C

• The temperature on Earth's core is 6000°C

• The temperature in Sun's atmosphere is 100,000°C

•  The temperature of Sun's Corona (atmosphere) is 1 million °C

• The temperature of Sun's Core is 15 million °C

• The temperature  of a Star's Supernova can reach upto 1,000,000,000°C

• The highest temperature recorded in Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN is 5.5 trillion     °K.

• The average temperature of the universe today is 2.73 K (approx) based on measurements of cosmic background  radiation.

This were some interesting temperature records. These days Earth is getting warmer due to increase in greenhouse gas emissions by humans. This traps more heat reflected from the earth's surface. Due to which Ice in Antarctic and arctic is melting causing increase in sea levels. Lives are being lost in coastal areas. Together we can reduce our Carbon Footprint and make earth more habitable again...

Hope you learned something new today. :)

Stephen Hawking's Time Travelers Party

On 28th June 2009, Professor Stephen Hawking organized a party for time travelers. He wanted to prove time travel was practically impossible. He arranged the party at 52° 12' 21” N, 0° 7' 4.7” E coordinates.  The Discovery Channel tried to go to the party. But, there is a twist. They found the party already finished the day before. This is because Stephen Hawking distributed the invitation cards on 29th so that only time travelers can attend the party. If a person who knows time travel is reading this post, please go to the past to party with Stephen Hawking. He is eagerly waiting for you. Thank you. The result was no Time Traveler came. Stephen Hawking concluded that time travel was practically impossible. What do you all think about it. Your opinions in the comments below.  I  think time travel is possible. Just we can't interact with anyone in the past. Or we would change the future. For example :-   You go to the past and you don't let your grandfather mee...
